If you import, manufacture, sell, hire, lease, or provide hire purchase of regulated products in New Zealand, you are required to meet certain legal obligations under the Energy Efficiency (Energy Using Products) Regulations 2002. These regulations set out the requirements that apply to importers, manufacturers, and sellers of regulated products in New Zealand.
Our staff have 15 years experiences in Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPs) Testing. We can offer importers and local manufacturers full testing or partial testing on the following standards / appliances.
Minimum efficiency performance standard tests can help not only the consumers but also the manufacturers, suppliers and retailers.
Consumers: Consumers have the ability to utilise the energy efficiency label to identify which appliances suit their demands. The data and figures which printed on the label can let customers see a clear picture of the future energy cost over the expected lifetime of the appliances rather than only focusing on the price tag.
Manufacturers & Suppliers: The data and figure can also help manufacturers and suppliers to figure out the energy efficiency of their appliances.
Retailer: The staff of appliance retail store can use this label to guide customers or provide more information about products.
